The Kaneshie Magistrate court has discharged six persons who were arrested for allegedly playing a role in the killing of a Police officer at Buduburam, near Kasoa in the Central Region.
The six identified as Isaac Amissah, Ibrahim Zakaria, Isaac Mensa, Oblitey Commey, Victor Yire and Fatawu Ahmed were discharged after the Police prosecutor withdrew charges leveled against them.
State prosecutors led by Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP), Sylvester Asare prayed the court to accept a new charge sheet which he said indicts the prime suspect, Eric Kojo Duah and three other suspects.
The three others have been charged with two counts of conspiracy to commit murder and two counts of murder.
