The families of the Takoradi Missing girls who were later reported murdered have led friends and sympathisers to embark on a massive demonstration in the Western Regional capital.
The demonstrators who were clad in black and red marched through principal streets of the capital demanding among other things the resignation of the head of the Criminal Investigations Department (CID), Maame Tiwaah Addo-Danquah and the National Security Minister.
The demonstrators also demanded the resignation of another member of the CID only identified as Amatepey.
Benjamin Mensah who is the spokesperson for the families said there would be series of demonstrations across the country to press home their demands.
Priscilla Blessing Bentum, 21, Priscilla Mantebea Koranchie, 18, Ruth Love Quayson 18, and Ruth Abeka who went missing after being kidnapped were later reported dead.
This was after a forensic examination of some skeletons found in the home of one of the key suspects.
