Mahama was right, Ghanaians have ‘short memories’ – Ken Agyapong

Assin Central Member of Parliament (MP), Kennedy Ohene Agyapong has said that he now believes in the assertion by the former President, John Dramani Mahama that Ghanaians have ‘short memories’.

Speaking on Net 2 TV as monitored by, the NPP firebrand said he started appreciating the statement made by the former President after Ghanaians started criticizing the Akufo-Addo administration for achieving little.

“In fact, Mahama was right, Ghanaians indeed have short memories…otherwise how can you fail to see that Akufo-Addo has achieved more in three years than Mahama did in eight years? Have we so soon forgotten about the dumsor that we went through…?,” he fumed.

The former President while in power claimed that Ghanaians easily forget about the good things that his government was doing.

He was subjected to several criticisms by his political opponents for making those comments.

Years after, Ken Agyapong says he now believes in the comment made by the former President as according to him, Ghanaians are now lamenting as if the current President ‘has achieved nothing after three years in power’.

“Akufo-Addo’s achievement cannot be compared to any other…the most annoying part is that NDC MP’s whose constituents are enjoying these goodies are the ones criticizing the Akufo-Addo government…,” he said.

To him, ‘NDC’s eight years can never match NPP’s three years’.
