Former President of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), Dr Nyaho Tamakloe has denied reports that the board members of Accra Hearts of Oak have endorsed Amanda Clinton for the GFA presidency.
Reports that made rounds on social media suggested that Accra Hearts of Oak has enorsed the ony female aspiring to lead the GFA.
She submitted her forms on Friday, September 20, 2019.
Commenting on this supposed endorsement on Angel 102.9 fm Floodlight Sports on Monday, Dr Nyaho Tamakloe said it is never true that Accra Hearts of Oak has endorsed the female presidential hopeful.
“As far as I know, Accra Hearts of Oak has not endorsed Amanda Clinton to contest GFA Presidential seat,” he said.
Dr Tamakloe who is also a Board member of Hearts of Oak continued that the Board chairman, Togbe Afede who is currently in the United States of America ‘is not happy about it”.
