Kjetil Zachariassen has urged his players to maintain their concentration after the manager suffered the first defeat of his tenure against Kano Pillars of Nigeria two weeks again.
Having seen Godfred Asiamah’s sublime freekick keep the Porcupines in the lead after Justice Blay’s leveller, a 75th-minute goal by Mohammed Gambo consigned the Porcupines to a 3-2 defeat.
However, speaking in a presser, the Coach admitted that if his side keeps their concentration, his boys can get the job done.
“We’ve done nothing else than we normally do in training,” said the Norwegian gaffer. “We’re just here to be ninety-plus focused unlike in Nigeria where we lost ten minutes of concentration.” He assured.
When quizzed about how well they have corrected the mistakes from the previous game; the coach replied;
“It’s a complex game” he noted “And you cannot blame one or two players, you have to blame the team because is a change in reaction and thus; if you don’t lose the ball in midfield they wouldn’t score either. And all the mistakes were due to lost in concentration.”
Reacting to their plan of executing the task ahead on Sunday’ Kjetil revealed that their plan to dictate the game.
